MHE01: The Umbrella

  Hello, everyone!
  Recently, I read a book, The Umbrella. This story is short and we can read this book in short time.
  The story is about a miraculous encounter. One woman found a nice umbrella, and she bought it. She was happy, but her umbrella had stolen soon. She became to be sad and brought other umbrella, however, the umbrella brings happiness to her.
   To be honest, I don't like the ending very much, but the whole story is nice! Please check it out!

HRC01: The Fisherman and his Soul

     Hello, everyone!
     Recently, I read a book, The Fisherman and his Soul. The story was written by Oscar Wild.
     One day, a young fisherman caught a mermaid. He released her and she promised that she would come to meet him when he calls her. She sang songs every day and he listened to her song. He fell in love with her, but he never could get married when he has his soul. Finally, he could throw his soul, so he could be with her, but his soul said him many things...
     This story is very interesting, and the atmosphere is mysterious.

HRC01: The Happy Prince and The Nightingale and the Rose

   "Swallow, Swallow, little Swallow,"

   Today, I read a book again, The Happy Prince and The Nightingale and the Rose. About the Happy Prince, the story is so sad. In the story, the happy prince which is a gold statue and a swallow appear. They rescue many people with Happy Prince's body.

   I thought the author's irony was interesting. He describes that Happy prince and the bird have a really beautiful mind, but people like public officers don't have. I understand his opinion, but I want to believe people have such a beautiful mind, they just forget.

HRF02: The Surprise

Something's happening. It's cracking!

   Hello, everyone! Today, I introduce a book, The Surprise. The story is about an ancient animal.
   One day, an aunt brings an egg to her niece and nephew. They check the egg every day, and a few days later, the egg cracked! A creature appeared from the egg. The children had never seen it, but the children's father found what it was and named it. It was an ancient animal. He ate a lot of food and flied around in room, so the children's mother doesn't like his doing like that. When the aunt came to the children, she found her office is just suitable for him to live. After she takes him to her office, the children goes to meet him. One night, an accident happened, but he helped to deal with the accident.
   After reading, I get interested in the animals that lived many millions years ago. What do you know about the ancient animals? I hardly know them, so I want to go to a museum.

HRC02: Holly the Eco Warrior

That is so unfair! 

   Hello, everyone. Today, I introduce a book, Holly the Eco Warrior. The story is about the environment. The main character is a girl whose name is Holly, and she loves nature. She has a strong sense of justice for the environment.
   One day, her father told her to cut down an oak which is in their house and built his office. She wouldn't accept his suggestion. She fought for the tree..
  In addition, the tree which appears in the book, has a tree house. I wanted it when I was a child, and even now I think so. If I build a house in the future, I want it in my house. What do you think? Do you want too?
    By the way, I have a question to you. What are you doing to save the environment? My classmates said they saved electricity. I must do too!

HRC01; David and the Great Detevctive

    'Dave the Dreamer! Dave the Dreamer!'



   Hello, everyone. Today I introduce a book, David and the Great Detective. The main character is a high school boy, whose name is David. He loves reading and writing, so he often think about a lot of things. Some classmates make fun of him, because of that. One day, an incident occurred, which is that Jack's bicycle was stolen. Jack is one of the classmates who made fun of David. Jack told David that when he occasionally met David. And then David decided to help him. People who helped him were only David and two other girls who were classmates and didn't make fun of David. Other David's friend didn't help.
   Through this story, I think about my friends. My friends are kind and funny. If I have a problem, they will help me. I want to believe so..😅 Also, I want to help them when they have a problem. I really appreciate them and I really like them.

　  Hello, I'm Yuka. Today, I introduce a book, The Red-headed League, which is written by Arthur Conan Doyle.This story is a one of the series, Sherlock Holmes.
   
     The story is set in London in 1890, it was Victorian era. One day, a fat, red-faced gentleman visits Holmes, and then he consults Homes what happened around him. Homes and his friend reason the incident. Homes consider well and never miss even a little thing. His reasoning is very cool and fantastic. If you like detective stories, this book will be your favorite book. Let's read it.
